1. Service Description

WhatDoYouHaveOn.Me ("we," "us," or "the Service") helps California residents exercise their privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and California Public Records Act by generating and submitting privacy requests on their behalf.

2. Authorized Agent Relationship

By using this Service, you authorize WhatDoYouHaveOn.Me to act as your "authorized agent" as defined under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(a)(11). This authorization permits us to:

  • Submit CCPA access, deletion, and opt-out requests on your behalf
  • Submit California Public Records Act requests on your behalf
  • Receive and forward responses from businesses and agencies to you

3. Zero-PII Architecture

We are committed to protecting your privacy through our zero-PII architecture:

  • No PII Storage: Your personal information (name, email, address, license plate) is used only to generate requests and is never stored in our database.
  • One-Way Hash: We store only a cryptographic hash of your email address (which cannot be reversed) to allow you to check your request status.
  • Immediate Deletion: Your personal information exists only in server memory during request generation and is immediately discarded after processing.

4. User Representations

By using this Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are a California resident
  • The information you provide is accurate and pertains to you
  • The vehicle license plate you provide is registered to you or you have legal authority to make privacy requests regarding it
  • You are exercising your rights in good faith
  • You will not use this Service for harassment or unlawful purposes

5. Good Faith Requirement

This Service is designed to help individuals exercise their legitimate privacy rights. Users must:

  • Only submit requests for data that pertains to themselves
  • Not submit fraudulent or misleading information
  • Not use the Service to harass businesses or agencies
  • Not circumvent any identity verification requirements

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we believe is misusing the platform.

6. No Legal Advice

This Service provides automated privacy request generation, not legal advice. We are not a law firm and using this Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. For legal questions about your privacy rights, please consult a qualified attorney.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • All requests will be successfully delivered
  • Businesses or agencies will respond within required timeframes
  • Your data will be deleted upon request
  • The Service will be available at all times

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatDoYouHaveOn.Me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
